20 levels. Four changing scenes.
Marshmallow Run advances through levels as the current run reaches distance milestones. The names stay the same even when the backdrop changes; every five levels brings a new scene.
Levels 1–5
Campground
Build your timing around the campfires. Level 2 introduces slow-mo; level 3 adds airborne hazards and unlocks Toasted. Speed Boost arrives at level 4. At level 5, Hot Cocoa becomes available and Cocoa Dip unlocks. Use these early levels to practice saving your second jump rather than spending it immediately.
| Level | Name | Entry distance |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Dune Trail | 0 m |
| 2 | Sunset Ridge | 615 m |
| 3 | Night Winds | 1.33 km |
| 4 | Star Canyon | 2.13 km |
| 5 | Sandstorm | 3.02 km |
Levels 6–10
Snowy mountains
The scenery changes, but campfires and flying snacks remain dangerous. Speed caps rise and obstacle gaps tighten. Read where you will land before committing to a double jump. Jumbo Coach joins you at level 10 with pep talks; his presence does not remove hazards or protect you.
| Level | Name | Entry distance |
|---|---|---|
| 6 | Mirage Run | 3.99 km |
| 7 | Endless Dusk | 5.03 km |
| 8 | Moonlit Mesa | 6.16 km |
| 9 | Cinder Pass | 7.38 km |
| 10 | Coach's Challenge | 8.70 km |
Levels 11–15
Beach
Keep your eyes on the trail even with the ocean behind you. The later levels give you less room between hazards. Coach stays beside the runner through level 14. Reaching level 15 makes his 400-coin character available to unlock; he does not become automatically owned.
| Level | Name | Entry distance |
|---|---|---|
| 11 | Pep Talk Peak | 10.12 km |
| 12 | Victory Valley | 11.65 km |
| 13 | Champion's Trail | 13.29 km |
| 14 | Final Practice | 15.04 km |
| 15 | Solo Summit | 16.90 km |
Levels 16–20
Desert
Dunes return for the fastest stretch. Speed caps keep climbing and the gaps become tighter through Endless Dunes. Slow-mo gives you breathing room; Hot Cocoa protects you temporarily. Level 20 is the last difficulty tier, not a finish line—the endless run continues until you crash.
| Level | Name | Entry distance |
|---|---|---|
| 16 | Dune Trail Returns | 18.90 km |
| 17 | Cactus Alley | 21.00 km |
| 18 | Sandstorm Sprint | 23.20 km |
| 19 | Oasis Mirage | 25.50 km |
| 20 | Endless Dunes | 27.90 km |
Progress and retries
Your best reached level controls level-based character unlocks. It does not make a fresh run start at that level. Signed-in players can choose to continue from their crashed level; a new run begins at level 1. Learn the jump and power-up controls before pushing for the next milestone.
